In a collective exhibition dedicated to POP Art, which communicates to the mass, my artworks address to the individual, pushing them to reflect upon the “NOTHING”.

The formula EVERYTHING + NOTHING = EVERYTHING makes us understand that in order for us to fully understand “everything” (which is what as humans we try to achieve) we need to take a step back and appreciate the “nothing”. My artworks are simple objects that were made to make the audience reflect on the “essential”, the “nothing”.

We live in a world where we are constantly exposed to visual information as a consequence of mass media. I propose a way to visually go back to our origins. By using simple symbols like the circle, I reference prehistoric times. A circle or a line were the first symbols used by us to communicate visually, and I believe in their vital relevance in the advanced, contemporary context we live in.
